Greetings from the organizing committee of the International Conference on Business and Management (ICBM), 2021, BRAC Business School, BRAC University.

It is our pleasure to inform you that we are organizing, as part of the conference, PhD colloquium sessions for aspiring and current PhD students. No registration fee is required to participate in these sessions.

There will be separate sessions for aspiring and current PhD students. In the session for aspiring PhD students, we are going to organize workshops that will cover topics related to writing PhD proposals, shortlisting schools for doctoral studies, approaching prospective supervisors, and securing funding.

For current PhD students, we are going to organize presentation and feedback sessions where participants can present their ongoing PhD work and receive constructive feedback from distinguished panelists. Moreover, there will be discussions on post-PhD career prospects.

In order to participate in these sessions, interested participants are requested to submit synopses of their PhD proposals (applicable for aspiring PhD students) or working papers (applicable for current PhD students). Each synopsis has to be within 1000 words.

After shortlisting the submissions, selected students will be invited to attend the sessions.

The deadline for submitting the synopsis is October 31, 2021. You are requested to submit the synopsis via email at [email protected]
